Saint Vincent Hospital Announces February 2025 American Heart Month Campaign

Worcester, MA ― Saint Vincent Hospital supports American Heart Month with its 2025 campaign for February, “Be Your Own Heart Hero.” The 2025 campaign aims to encourage community members to take charge of their heart health while emphasizing the support available from Saint Vincent Hospital. The campaign runs through Feb. 28. 

Participants have the chance to win a pair of wireless earbuds and download a free 28-day heart-healthy activity calendar.  

Earbud winners will be randomly selected from eligible entries March 1, 2025. As a bonus, entrants will receive weekly emails during February with heart-healthy tips. February is the perfect time to take an assessment of your heart health and adopt habits that will help you live a healthier lifestyle.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, approximately 805,000 Americans suffer a heart attack each year. The most common symptom of a heart attack for men and women is chest pain or discomfort. However, women are more likely to have atypical symptoms. Other heart attack symptoms include, but are not limited to, tingling or discomfort in one or both arms, back, shoulder, neck or jaw, shortness of breath, cold sweat, unusual tiredness, heartburn-like feeling, nausea or vomiting, sudden dizziness, and fainting.
